30 November 1812 – Monday – continuation from previous day

[Brief addendum to a letter chiefly written the previous day, Sunday 29th November, to Martha Lloyd]

Monday.  A wettish day, bad for Steventon.– Mary Deedes I think must be liked there, she is so perfectly unaffected & sweet tempered, & tho’ as ready to be pleased as Fanny Cage, deals less in superlatives & rapture.– Pray give our best compts to Mrs Dundas & tell her that we hope soon to hear of her complete recovery.– Yours affec:ly
J. Austen

Miss Lloyd
