If ‘yesterday’s’ letter (from 1814) was a bit thin in content, today’s from 1808 makes up for it with a wealth of interest!  Lovely descriptions of her journey with her brother to Godmersham, details of the family, and humorous asides…  which will be continued again ‘tomorrow.’
